Skirts & Scarves

By M. J. Joachim

Look what I found today for my fall skirt pattern. This vibrant blue practically jumped off the shelf. I’m looking forward to playing with this final color – might make an odd hemline or something, just for giggles and grins.

I’ve been working on another project to practice my knitting skills. Using a large skein of home spun yarn, I’m making only knit stitches and going back and forth, to make rows for a scarf. When the skein runs out, the scarf will be complete. You could also use crochet stitches for the same purpose, and make lots of wonderful scarves, just in time for the holidays. If there’s a stitch you need to practice, this is a fun and productive way to do it.

I’ve more to share, but feel it would be best to do so over multiple posts. Thanks for visiting Lots of Crochet Stitches. I really appreciate it more than you know.
